Family Forest School Day
Confidence and connection through fire, tools,
and woodland play
Join us for a special day of outdoor learning, play, and connection in the woodlands of Warley Woods. These one-off Forest School sessions offer a longer, deeper experience than our regular meetups, open to all families—home-educating or otherwise—who value time in nature.
What to Expect
🌿 Hands-On Adventures
Children will explore bushcraft skills like den building, fire lighting, tool use, and natural crafts. Whether they’re toasting something over the fire or helping build a shelter, every activity supports confidence, independence, and creativity.
🪵 Unhurried Time in Nature
This is a chance to slow down, connect, and enjoy an extended Forest School experience. With space to roam, make, play, and rest, children can follow their curiosity while soaking in the rhythm of the woods.
👣 A Welcoming Community
Parents are invited to stay and connect too. Meet like-minded families, share ideas, and enjoy being part of a community that values outdoor learning, child-led exploration, and mutual support.
🌱 Led by an Experienced Forest School Leader
With over a decade of experience, I bring a calm, grounded approach to helping children grow in confidence, learn practical skills, and feel at home in nature.
Whether you’re a regular or new to Forest School, this is a perfect way to spend the day outdoors together.
