The Essential Tarps and Knots Course for Forest School Leaders
Learn all you need to know to build simple, fast and strong tarp shelters
Do you struggle with learning and remembering knots? Do you often feel that putting up a tarp is more trouble than it's worth or do you find untying knots a pain?
Then this is the course for you!
When I first got started in Forest School, I was faced with a bewildering array of knots with no real way to tell which ones to use when. On top of that the knots that others seemed to find easy, I struggled with. Even the knots that I did learn were a struggle to untie and often had to be left on the cord permanently.
However, over time I taught myself how to break knots down into their simplest components and found new and better ways to tie and teach common knots. I began to develop a system of knots that were quick to set up, simple to adjust and easy to take down. A tarp system that makes tarp shelters hassle-free.
After many days and weeks of testing, honing and refining that tarp system across the UK and in all weathers, I am now ready to help you shortcut those years of trial and error and become a tarp and knot-tying expert.
