A Weekend of Connection & Adventure

Join us for a fun-filled weekend designed especially for home-educating families! This is your chance to step away from the daily routine, connect with like-minded people, and enjoy the freedom of nature in a beautiful woodland setting. Whether you’re an experienced camper or brand new to outdoor adventures, this is a space to relax, learn, and create lasting memories together.

Your ticket includes a tent pitch, with the option for adventurous kids (or adults!) to sleep under a tarp for a true bushcraft experience. In the evenings, we’ll gather around a communal campfire—sharing stories, toasting marshmallows, and maybe even trying a bit of campfire cooking.

Throughout the weekend, there’ll be plenty to get stuck into—bushcraft sessions, craft activities, woodland play, and lots of time to simply unwind and enjoy the great outdoors. This is an all-ages, family-friendly camp where community and connection come first.

We went on the family forest school weekend in June 2024. It was such a fantastic weekend with just the right balance of planned activities and free time to play. Bracken has such an amazing way with kids and adults alike and we Learned lots of skills and came away with a beautiful slate pendant and woven cord, fire lighting skills, a carved skewer for marshmallow roasting as well as so many happy memories from our weekend away. We are planning to do forest school sessions with Bracken (which come so well recommended from a friend) and can’t wait for anymore family camping events. We’ve been to other forest schools but I feel like Bracken is next level on a forest school leader! Thanks again and can’t wait for the next one!
